Georgia lawmakers are readying for the 2023 legislative session at the state Capitol. Among those gearing up to tackle state issues is District 120 Representative Houston Gaines. He says lawmakers have a full slate including taking up some of Governor Brian Kemp’s campaign issues.
Gaines also says criminal prosecution is one topic in particular he plans to focus on.
This year’s legislature will see new leadership with house speaker Jon Burns and new Lt. Governor Burt Jones, and President Pro Tem of the Senate John Kennedy.
