More than $100,000 has been raised to bring a University of Georgia student back to the United States after she suffered a serious medical emergency while on spring break in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

According to a GoFundMe page, Liza Burke suffered a brain hemorrhage and has been diagnosed with arteriovenous malformation, also known as AVM. That hemorrhage left her unresponsive and on life support. The fundraiser, which took in three times the amount it was intended to raise, and in less than 24 hours, will bring the UGA senior to the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida.
