The NCAA basketball tournament kicks off today and the Georgia Museum of Art at UGA is celebrating with its own single-elimination tournament.

Organized as part of the museum’s 75th anniversary celebrations, the art competition will set 64 works from its collection against one another to see which will emerge as the people’s favorite.

Voting will run every weekday on the museum’s instagram stories, with an image of each work and a poll posted for 24 hours. Winners will be announced the following day. An Elite Eight will be chosen by July, and voting then moves to the museum where an overall champion will be announced August 26. To have your say in the competition, follow @georgiamuseum on Instagram.

Communications Director Hillary Brown explains how the Museum's March Madness competition works.
