UGA Public Health graduates create an alumni board to support the program

In 2020, at the height of the pandemic, five University of Georgia graduates got together over Zoom to take on a big challenge – creating an alumni board to support the university’s College of Public Health. Recently, those five members of what started as the alumni working group sat down to share their stories in this audio postcard.

Martin Matheny is WUGA's Program Director and a host and producer of our local news program 'Athens News Matters.' He started at WUGA in 2012 as a part-time classical music host and still hosts WUGA's longest-running local program 'Night Music' which is heard on WUGA and GPB Classical. He lives in Normaltown with his wife, Shaye and dog, Murphy.
