After the murder of former UGA student Laken Riley in late February by an undocumented immigrant, increased pressure has been placed on local law enforcement agencies to explain their policies regarding the detention of undocumented immigrants. Clarke County Sheriff John Q Williams sat down with WUGA’s Martin Matheny earlier this week to discuss the policies followed by the Sheriff’s Office.
