Oconee County issues boil water advisory

Oconee County is currently experiencing low to no water pressure, according to county officials. Water Resources field crews and Bear Creek Reservoir staff are working to establish the cause of the of the decline in supply.

Oconee County is receiving additional water from Clarke and Barrow Counties as a backup to the county's supply to help supplement the county water service.

County officials say they're working to restore service as quickly and efficiently as possible. Please check the county's website for updates.

The Oconee County Administrative Building is currently closed due to water issues.
