Athens StoryCorps: Brian and Mamie Mills

Brian and Mamie Mills were friends for years before finally getting together. They bonded over music and became good friends, but Mamie married someone else and Brian had a series of girlfriends until the day they began to see each other in a different light. Though they found true love with each other later in life, you will hear through this story how they are now happier than ever. StoryCorps Athens stories were recorded locally at the StoryCorps mobile booth at the Athens-Clarke County Library in the Fall of 2018. StoryCorps is part of a national initiative to record and preserve the stories of everyday people.
