Athens StoryCorps: Shannah and Jeff Montgomery

Jeff and Shannah Montgomery have a unique story of how they met each other and how they decided to get married. With the help of a question from their son Ben, they describe the moment they finally knew they wanted to tie the knot. StoryCorps Athens stories were recorded locally at the StoryCorps mobile booth at the Athens-Clarke County Library in the Fall of 2018. StoryCorps is part of a national initiative to record and preserve the stories of everyday people.
