Athens StoryCorps: Celeste Condit and Clayton Condit

Few teenagers would have the courage to hitchhike to South America to join a revolution, but that is exactly what Clayton Max Condit attempted to do at just 14 years old. Here, he tells his daughter Celeste Condit a little bit about his adventures and the importance of travel in his life. StoryCorps Athens stories were recorded locally at the StoryCorps mobile booth at the Athens-Clarke County Library in the fall of 2018.
