Athens StoryCorps: David Kurtz and Melissa Kurtz

David Kurtz serves as a father figure to his daughter-in-law Melissa, which is why she brought him into the StoryCorps Mobile Booth to talk about what it was like raising his sons and his personal spiritual journey. StoryCorps Athens stories were recorded locally at the StoryCorps mobile booth at the Athens-Clarke County Library in the fall of 2018. StoryCorps is part of a national initiative to record and preserve the stories of everyday people. All of the interviews were produced locally by Morgan Frey.
