Athens StoryCorps: Ron and Paige Walcott

This story comes from the Associate Dean of UGA’s Graduate School, Ron Walcott and his daughter Paige. Ron grew up in Barbados, and as a result of raising his children in a different country, he admits to Paige that he was a little strict with her and her sister at times. But as you’ll hear, the most important thing he taught her was diligence and hard work. StoryCorps Athens stories were recorded locally at the StoryCorps mobile booth at the Athens-Clarke County Library in the fall of 2018.
