Athens StoryCorps: Leslie Hale and Melaney Smith

Our next story comes from Books for Keeps Executive Director Leslie Hale and former director Melaney Smith, who came together to talk about the organization and the struggles of starting a non-profit. StoryCorps Athens stories were recorded locally at the StoryCorps mobile booth at the Athens-Clarke County Library in the Fall of 2018. StoryCorps is part of a national initiative to record and preserve the stories of everyday people.
