Athens StoryCorps:Sherri Tanner and Becky Parker

This conversation comes from domestic violence victims advocate Sherri Tanner and her friend Becky Parker who talk about how Sherri became a public speaker and advocate for domestic abuse victims after experiencing abuse in her own life. StoryCorps Athens stories were recorded locally at the StoryCorps mobile booth at the Athens-Clarke County Library in the Fall of 2018. StoryCorps is part of a national initiative to record and preserve the stories of everyday people.
