This episode provides an update on the growing conflict in Northern Mozambique and the call for intervention by the African Union (AU) and the South African Development Community (SADC). The show also provides highlights from a recent press release on secondary education in Africa from the Canada based Mastercard Foundation. According to the release, COVID-19 threatens the ability of African countries to invest in secondary education at a time when demand is increasing. As always, the episode also features enjoyable music from African and/or by Africans including the 1995 Islands Record collection, “Fete Africa 3” and Hugh Masekela’s 2000 album “Sixty.”
