The American Red Cross will be hosting a blood drive at the Athens-Clarke County Library Wednesday, July 19. Rhiannon Eades, the public information officer for Athens Regional Library System, says they’re hoping for a good response because there is a shortage of blood supplies.
“I know I’m going to be giving blood and so I encourage everyone to come out and roll up their sleeves and do it too.”
