ACC Library Hosting Workshop on Caregiving

Athens Regional Library

The Athens-Clarke County Library and OLLI are hosting a film screening and discussion on caregiving Tuesday evening.

The library and Reflecting, Sharing, Learning invite members of the community to “Family Caregiving: Four Keys to Making a Difference.”

The free workshop will be led by Randy Christian of the Elder Care Planning Council of Northeast Georgia. It is aimed at helping attendees prepare personally, financially, medically, residentially and legally to be a caregiver. Among the topics scheduled to be addressed: how to create a caregiver plan, costs of caregiving, and the needs of caregivers.

The event takes place at 6 pm Tuesday evening at the library.

The Elder Care Planning Council of Northeast Georgia is a not-for-profit alliance that provides a forum for a panel of experts in the field of senior aging services to educate and advise the public.
