Especially for young men, social media has a large negative impact on what they believe about healthy relationships and what they believe about consent.

It seems that lately we are constantly learning of new ways social media impacts our daily lives and our perceptions of the world. Men and women often have differing views around the expected norms for romantic relationships and platonic relationships. A new study from the University of Georgia found social media may impact perceptions of what is expected in romantic relationships, consent, and sexual activity.
