Athens-Clarke County Police have made three arrests in connection with a shooting earlier this month at an east side fast food restaurant. According to a media release, ACC police, along with members of the GBI and FBI, searched a house on Highland Park Drive as part of multiple investigations into gang-related shootings in the city.

Authorities say that they arrested three suspects, including a 16-year-old. That juvenile was charged with a long list of offenses, including multiple counts of Aggravated Assault, multiple firearm possession charges, and reckless conduct. Police say the 16-year-old has been involved in other shootings this year in Athens-Clarke County.

During the search, police also seized a number of guns, as well as ammunition.

Members of the community with information on gang-related activity can call the ACCPD’s Crime Tip Line at 706-705-4775, email gangunit@accgov.com, or submit an anonymous tip online.
