After requesting help from the Athens community, the ACCPD has been able to identify the victim of last week’s fatal crash.

The Athens Clark County Police Department is seeking help from the community to identify the victim involved in a fatal traffic accident at the intersection of US Highway 29 and Highway 17.

The Athens-Clarke County Police Department reported that Lillie Mae Wade, a 77-year-old Athens woman who was declared missing on Saturday, has been found deceased.
