For five decades, Dr. Charles Bullock has been one of the most insightful and astute observers and writers on American politics, and especially politics in Georgia and across the deep South. As the author, co-author, editor or co-editor of 30 books and more than 150 articles, he has advanced the study of political science. Now, as he celebrates 50 years of teaching, Dr. Bullock sits down with WUGA’s Martin Matheny for two wide-ranging discussions about politics in Georgia and beyond. In their first conversation, Bullock weighs in on the last half-century of political history, and shares his insights on a variety of events and topics. Produced in cooperation with the UGA School of Public and International Affairs.
