Northeast Georgia Medical Center hospitals to remain open

Though Hurricane Helene is expected to bring extreme weather to Georgia, Northeast Georgia Medical Center has announced that its hospitals and emergency rooms will remain operational.

Non-hospital services will have adjusted hours on Friday, September 27th.

  • Radiation Therapy locations will open at 9 a.m.

All non-hospital locations listed below will open at 10 a.m.

  • Northeast Georgia Physicians Group locations
  • Georgia Heart Institute locations
  • Urgent Care locations*
  • Imaging Centers
  • NGMC and New Horizons Pharmacy
  • Rehabilitation Institute locations

*Urgent Care virtual visits (ngpg.org/on-demand-visit) will be available beginning at 8 a.m. on Friday, September 27.
