The financial analyst website ranked the states across 13 factors they consider key indicators of patriotism. The data set ranges from average number of military enlistees to share of adults who voted in the 2016 presidential election to AmeriCorps volunteers per capita. Georgia ranks number one for average number of military enlistees per 1,000 civilian adults population and civic education requirement. Idaho ranks directly above Georgia and North Carolina ranks directly below. WalletHub also ranked Georgia’s capital as the number one city to celebrate the Fourth of July this year. Atlanta came out on top when analysts compared the city’s Fourth of July affordability, accessibility and projected weather with the country’s 100 largest cities. Atlanta was followed by San Francisco, California and Buffalo, New York.
