The Athens-Clarke County Police Department is investigating an armed robbery at the CVS on North Avenue. According to a media release from Public Information Officer Epifanio Rodriguez, the store clerk told officers a man entered the store and forced her to the floor. She said the suspect “held something cold to the back of her neck and told her to get down or he would blow her head off.” The suspect took an unknown amount of cash. The investigation is continuing.
