An Athens home was raked by gunfire yesterday afternoon.
An unknown individual shot from an SUV at a home in Sunny Hills Court on Wednesday around 5:15 p.m., according to Online Athens.
Two people were in the home at the time, a 19 year old, and a 57 year old. Witnesses said they saw a silver-gray SUV drive into the cul-de-sac, and someone in the vehicle shot at least five times at the house and vehicles parked at the front.
Police are still searching for possible suspects, and ask that anyone with information call Detective Paul Johnson at (706) 613-3888, extension 522.
