ACCPD Deputy Chief Turns in Two-Week Notice

On Friday, Sept. 21, Deputy Chief Justin Gregory of the Athens-Clarke County Police Department tendered his resignation.

"This is purely a life decision that 23 years is a very reasonable point to retire from law enforcement and that this is the best time for me to consider a second career," Gregory said.

The Deputy Chief’s resignation comes just one week after Scott Freeman, the former Police Chief, resigned.
