Two suspects have been arrested in connection with an Armed Robbery on the UGA campus. According to a Timely Warning notice from the UGA Police Department, the suspects are charged with Entering Auto and Robbery by Intimidation.
An earlier notice from the department states that around 4:05 am Sunday, two visitors to campus were asleep in a vehicle when they were awoken by two Latino males who produced a black handgun and took several items from the victims before leaving the scene in a silver 2009 Honda Civic.
The department states no other individuals are believed to be involved and there is no indication of a continuing threat to the community in relation to the incident.
