There is an update to an alert we brought you earlier this afternoon. The danger at the state botanical garden is over. There is no ongoing danger to the community.
The University of Georgia has issued an alert. According the notification, police are looking for a wanted, violent crime suspect at the State Botanical Garden on South Milledge Avenue.
Police warn residents to avoid the area until further notice.
Once again police are asking people to avoid the State Botanical Garden as they search for a wanted, violent suspect.
