'American Pickers' Coming to Georgia in December, Searching for Antique Collections

American Pickers

"American Pickers," a documentary series on the art of antique "picking," is headed for Georgia in December and is searching for interesting characters with interesting items.

Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz, the lead pickers of the show, recycle and rescue "forgtten relices."

"The pair hopes to give historically significant objects a new lease on life while learning a thing or two about America’s past along the way," the "American Pickers" team wrote in a press release.

They are looking for someone with a large, private collection of antiques "to expolre [their] hidden treasures."

Wolfe and Fritz are only looking for private collections and request that stores, malls, flea markets, museums, auctions, businesses or anything open to the public do not reach out.
