Georgia Cases of COVID-19 Tops 700, 25 Deaths

There are now 772 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Georgia, with 25 deaths. That’s according to the latest numbers by the State Department of Public Health. 59% of those cases are in people between the ages of 19 and 59, 36% in people 60 and older and it is evenly divided by sex. Commercial labs have conducted 3,824 tests, with 608 positives, while the Georgia Department of Public Health has conducted 1,245 tests with 164 positives.

The GDPH provides updates twice daily at noon and 7 pm on its website:dph.georgia.gov/covid-19-daily status report.

Fulton County leads the state with 145 cases, followed by Cobb with 79, DeKalb has 75, Dougherty 64 and Bartow with 61. Clarke County has 14 cases.
