Athens-Area COVID-19 Vaccine Clinics

Piedmont Healthcare began vaccinating patients 65 older against COVID-19 Monday. According to a statement from Piedmont, the supply is limited and system hospitals will contact patients to schedule appointments. Piedmont is operating seven dedicated vaccination clinics throughout the communities it serves. Those clinics are not located in any of the system’s medical facilities.

If you meet the state’s criteria for being vaccinated and are interested, please contact the Georgia Department of Public Health for resources or visit https://dph.georgia.gov/.

In addition, the Northeast Georgia Health System is holding seven COVID-19 vaccine clinics for those 65 and older starting Monday, January 11 through February. An area clinic is scheduled in Winder on January 23. A clinic for the second dose is scheduled for February 20.
