The University System of Georgia is asking for public input as the search for a new chancellor continues.
With current Chancellor Steve Wrigley set to retire on July 1, the seven regents on the search committee are ramping up the process to find Wrigley’s successor, with three public listening sessions scheduled over the next seven days.
• Thursday, 3/4 at 2 pm
• Friday, 3/5 at 10 am
• Monday, 3/8 at 9 am
All three sessions will be held virtually.
Additionally, the search committee is asking the public to fill out an online survey with three questions – preferred characteristics of the next chancellor, and the opportunities and challenges facing him or her.
