Governor Brian Kemp announced in February that he would expand the COVID-19 vaccine eligibility to include educators and school employees. Clarke County residents will have that opportunity in the next few days.
The first dose of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine will be offered to all Clarke County School District staff on Wednesday, March 10, and the second dose on Wednesday, March 31.
The vaccination sites will be at Clarke Central and Cedar Shoals High Schools from 1-6 pm on both dates.
There is not a plan for a make-up vaccination day at this time, but staff members can sign up with the Department of Public Health on their own if they are unable to attend the Clarke County School District events on March 10 and 31.
