This morning the Athens Clarke County Police Department made public their Crime Map.
ACC citizens can view the map online along with a grid containing all of the crimes in their area. They can also sign up for neighborhood watch reports that automatically email you a breakdown of recent crime activity and submit anonymous tips directly to law enforcement.
The information will also be available through a mobile app.
The map was created in a partnership between The Athens-Clarke County Police Department and LexisNexis Risk Solutions.
