The Athens Cultural Affairs Commission is searching for an Artist’s Assistant to help with an upcoming public art project.
According to a release from the ACAC, the assistant would support the Lead Artist with sourcing materials, planning and construction and installation. Candidates must be local, and residents of Clarke, Barrow, Jackson, Madison, Oglethorpe or Oconee county.
Interested artists should apply by Sunday, May 9th. The assistant will be paid $25 per hour for up to $2,500 total. The Greenway public art project is scheduled for this summer.
