The Athens-Clarke County elections office invites qualified residents to submit an application to become a poll coordinator, an assistant poll coordinator or a poll clerk for the May 24 elections.
On Election Day, poll workers welcome all voters, facilitate voting, conduct precinct operations in accordance with election laws and follow defined procedures.
To qualify, you must be a U.S. citizen and resident of Athens-Clarke County over the age of 16. You can not be a convicted felon, hold public office or be a family member of a candidate.
