The Morton Theatre is inviting the Athens-Clarke County community for a free screening of the award-winning film, “Black Panther,” Sunday, June 5th at 3 pm. Organizers say the event provides an opportunity for diverse community members to become acquainted with the historic Morton Theatre. Donations will be accepted. Popcorn and drinks will be available for purchase in commemorative Morton Theatre cups. Attendees are strongly encouraged to come dressed in their best Wakanda-inspired outfits or costumes for a photo op at the theatre.
