Athens residents still have time to voice their opinions about changes planned for Memorial Park.
The Athens-Clarke County Government is conducting a survey regarding improvements to the park.
The nearly six million dollars in improvements are part funding provided by SPLOST 2020. It will be used for Memorial Park, while different funding is slated for improvements at Bear Hollow and the dog park. Public comments are being accepted through h July 10th. Visit www.accgov.com.
