The University of Georgia announced the dates and times for the Fall 2022 and Spring 2023 Commencement ceremonies. In the fall, Commencement will occur on December 16, with the undergraduate ceremony at 9:30 a.m. and the graduate ceremony at 2:30 p.m. in Stegeman Coliseum.
Unlike previous years, the Spring 2023 Commencement will take place over two days, with separate master’s and doctoral ceremonies on May 11 at 9:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. in Stegeman Coliseum. The undergraduate ceremony will be on May 12 at 7:00 p.m. in Sanford Stadium. The university announced that this change will likely be maintained in future spring ceremonies due to consistent increases in graduate student enrollment.
