Starting Monday, Get Ahead of Voting

NBC News

Starting Monday, early voting Georgians can get to the ballot boxes for the 2022 midterm elections.

After months of ads flooding television screens, YouTube videos, and social media feeds, Georgians can make their voices heard at the ballot box. In addition to hotly contested races like the Gubernatorial and U.S. Senate races, Athenians can vote for representation in the State House and State Senate. Local races for Mayor and Commission took place in May.

Advance voters can visit the Athens-Clarke County Elections Office between 8 AM - 5 PM on Oct. 17-21, between 9 AM - 5 PM on Oct. 23, and between 8 AM - 5 PM on Oct. 24-29. Starting Oct. 29, the ACC Library, Miriam Moore Community Center, ACC Extension, ACC Tennis Center, Winterville Train Depot, and Lyndon House Arts Center will all be additional voting locations. They are open between 9 AM - 5 PM every day until Nov. 4th, except on Nov. 2, when all voting locations will be available from 7 AM - 7 PM.
