Dr. Remy Epps has been selected as the new Inclusion Officer for Athens-Clarke County.
The Inclusion Office was launched in fall of 2019 as a division of the Manager's office. As Inclusion Officer, Dr. Epps will work with both ACCGov and Athens residents to progress diversity and participation within local government processes as well as bridging equity gaps in the community at large.
Epps has a background in community service and public safety and most recently served as a community Program Coordinator for Guilford County Schools in Greensboro, North Carolina.
Her first day in the position will be February 27 2023.
