It’s been almost three years since COVID-19 erupted all over the globe, and a new research study from the University of Georgia finds that many of the COVID-19 drug trials conducted early in the pandemic were not representative of those most affected by the virus, and inconsistently reported certain demographic characteristics, such as the race and ethnicity of participants.
