The Athens-Clarke County Police Department arrested 19-year-old Amir Mangham of Athens on February 23 for his involvement in a shooting that occurred last April.
At the time of the arrest, he was in possession of a stole firearm and illegal narcotics. Mangham acquired several charges related to aggravated assault and firearms.
On April 26, 2022 ACC police responded to the 200 block of Carriage Court at approxiamtely 9:13 p.m. where they found a 20-year-old male who had been shot. He was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
