District 5 School Board Member Tim Denson on Cognia and CCSD

The Clarke County School District’s accreditation is still under review, but district leaders say progress has been made. District 5 school board member Tim Denson discussed Cognia, the agency tasked with accrediting schools in Georgia, and shared where the district stands now. Denson says they are working on the final standard required by Cognia.
He says the board is united in working to remedy the situation and regaining full accreditation and he hopes by Cognia’s next visit in August, that board members will have made the changes necessary.
