ACCPD Investigating Shooting

The Athens-Clarke County Police Department is investigating Monday afternoon shooting. According to a release from the department, around 4:30 pm on Monday, police responded to the scene in the 200 block of Hawthorne Extension regarding a shooting. When officers arrived they found a 32-year-old make who had been shot. He was taken by EMS to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
