More Porches Needed for Historic Athens' Porchfest 2023

Historic Athens is asking Clarke County residents to pitch in for Porchfest. The 5th annual event gets underway Sunday, October 15th, but porches are still needed. Hope Iglehart is the Director of Engagement in African American Heritage at the organization. She says 18 more porches, stoops, or yards are needed.

Residents in the Reese-West Hancock districts, the newest additions to Porchfest, are particularly needed.
Those interested are encouraged to register by Friday, July 21, 2023, if possible.
