This week is Diaper Need Awareness Week, and the Athens Area Diaper Bank is hoping to draw attention to the problem. Erin Campbell is founder and executive director of the organization. She says diapers cost families about a thousand dollars a year.

The nonprofit supplies diapers to 35 different partners including churches, nonprofits, and government agencies to meet the need for diapers in Athens

The diaper bank is holding an Open House Sunday, September 24th from 2 to 3 pm. Visit Athens the Athens Area Diaper Bank's website for more information.
