Athens-Clarke County Commissioners are expected to consider the county’s homelessness prevention and reduction plan at Tuesday evening's meeting. The county partnered the Cloudburst consulting firm, which developed the plan. District 2 Commissioner Melissa Link says more coordination between agencies is essential.

She also says that since most of the funding to implement changes comes from American Rescue Plan Act funds, the county needs to find sustainable funding to continue to support the goals of the plan.
