A recent report from Trust for America’s Health shows rates of obesity are continuing to climb in the United States. In 2022, 22 states had an adult obesity rate at or above 35 percent, up from 19 states the prior year. Dara Liberman is Director of Government relations at Trust for America’s Health. She says Georgia has earned a dubious distinction in joining that list.
