The 21st Annual Pharmtoberfest takes place Thursday, October 19, 2023. UGA’s College of Pharmacy and the American Pharmacists Association Academy of Student Pharmacists are hosting the event, which is being held in honor of National Pharmacists Month. It is open to all UGA students, faculty, staff, and members of the community.
Pharmtoberfest features health screenings, head education, games, free food, and a visit from Hairy Dawg. Mayor Kelly Girtz will issue a proclamation declaring it pharmacists month in the city, Governor Brian Kemp will issue a similar proclamation. Flu shots will also be available, with no charge for the UGA community. Participants should bring their UGA ID cards and insurance cards.
The free event takes place Wednesday, from 11 am until 2 pm on the D.W. Brooks Mall
