The Food Bank of Northeast Georgia is holding its annual fundraising event, the Empty Bowl luncheon in February. Hundreds of attendees are expected to gather at the Classic Center in support of the organization. Erin Barger is President and CEO of the food bank. She says funds raised help the food bank provide meals to its partners in 14 area counties for the estimated 64,000 residents that are food insecure in our region.
